Offline
After finishing university i’ve moved on to my first fulltime job.
As a side effect i had to relocate to the south of germany (near Stuttgart).
The place i’m housing right now doesn’t has internet access (to be precise it doesn’t even has telephon). To make it worse it’s only temporary so i can’t
get telephone installed.
So for the first time since ‘96 i’m totally offline… and i have to say i does’nt
like it at all. I hope i will be back online in November.

that’s my current status as well - at least in my new home…hopefully I will have internet access there in a few weeks.
I am online at the university but limited. The admins here have installed websense http://www.websense.com/ which is a pain in the a**!!!
I am really annoyed - because of this websense crap I can’t use ip-telephony *argl*
I mean whats so bad about iptel/skype etc. that you have to filter it…
well that’s life as a student in Ireland…

Hehe - I had to “fix the internet” at my new house. The Astrophysics guy couldn’t configure his Linksys Wireless router - it took me about 5 minutes to do it
So I have internet here also I tought I wouldn’t have it.
